Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ("NAD") is an essential coenzyme found

in every living cell and plays a key role in cellular metabolism, energy

production, and other important biological processes.

As we age, our levels of NAD+ decrease (ughh!!) and those lower levels can be

linked to to age-related diseases, energy decline, and metabolic disorders. Experts also think that low NAD+ levels can be part of what's driving the aging process.

So...how to potentially slow down your aging and make sure you have adequate levels? Foods rich in Vitamin B3 and omega-3 fatty acids can help restore your body's NAD+

levels as can intermittent fasting and regular exercise (especially HIIT workouts). Evidence is still limited in humans but supplementing may also help.

In terms of supplements, NAD+ and its precursors, like "NR" and "NMN"

have been touted for boosting metabolism, cognition, and potentially

slowing aging. Two such supplements are HAPPY Aging Longevity shots and CODEAGE liposomol NMH. If you're not ready to try supplements, NMN and NR are also found in fruits and vegetables like broccoli, green beans, bananas, and oranges.
