It's June and summer fruits and vegetables are starting to come into season! Make sure to pick up strawberries, cherries, apricots, blueberries, mangoes, nectarines, peaches, artichokes, avocados, spinach, tomatoes, peas, and asparagus while they are in their prime!

Summer salads are a great way to use all kinds of veggies - chop up some greens and add tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, etc... or try this fabulous recipe (with fresh peas not frozen) from Love & Lemons:

And if you don't eat all of your fruit, just freeze the extra for smoothies. Throw some berries, a little spinach, a nut butter, milk of your choice, and ice into a blender and...voila! Summer in a smoothie!

Eat the rainbow for a healthier life. Eat seasonally for a healthier planet.
